The Medieval Plant Survey is dependent on scholarly cooperation and interdisciplinary collaboration, therefore we try to adjust the research possibilities to the individual contributions: the more a user adds to the site, the more data and research options he or she can access. In short, data access is regulated through different user levels:
User-level ‘public’ (no registration):
- read whole posts (general, plant depictions)
- read post titles and reference information (manuscripts, texts, plant names)
- search (general)
User-level ‘basic’ (registration)
- read whole posts (general, plant depictions, manuscripts, texts, plant names)
- edit data on frontend (contact to administrator necessary)
- search (general, advanced)
User-level ‘advanced’ (registration, contact administrator)
- read whole posts (general, plant depictions, manuscripts, texts, plant names)
- edit data (frontend, backend)
- research of all data available (frontend, backend)
- add new data (backend)
- search (general, advanced)
